The campus is what makes BU unusual. The one experience I will always remember is the BU bum. We know how it feels and we love it. Probably it is too large, but it is fine for me. The best thing about BU is that almost every single good thing you will read about in the recruiting materials is true

I do believe a student has to make an effort to take advantage of everything BU has to offer, but once a student begins looking for opportunities there are a lot of people, both students and administrators, who really want to make things easy for you. If you like an environment where there's a city hustle and always things to do, then this is your Metropolis. School pride at BU is somewhat hampered by the fact that hockey is the only really "big" sport on campus. People like to claim that BU doesn't really have a campus but those are the people who don't go to BU. It's unusual that - for a school so diverse - there are so few Black students. My advisor is awesome, and Dean Elmore is basically great all the time (case and point he just tap-danced in dinner theater).
